Loading your survey to the SMP CAPI app is a simple one step process.

 

Start the app by pressing on the SMP icon.

 

The following screen will appear on your device.

 

 

 

Setting Up Your Software

 

The first time you use the app - create the settings

 

If this is the first time you are using the app you need to input the following settings.  Press on the "Setting" button shown in the above image - the following popup will appear:

 

 

 

Type in the details above and press ok.  You can choose any 'Interviewer Name'.  Your app is ready to go.

 

Note:  The interviewer name will be used to identify which app the survey was received from in the data file.

 

NOTE:  IF YOU ARE USING V8 OF THE CAPI SOFTWARE THEN YOU NEED TO INSERT THE URL

"http://v8.smpsurveys.com/" IN THE Url TEXT BOX ABOVE.

 

 

Downloading a survey

 

To download a survey click on the "Download" button shown in the above screen.  The following popup will appear.

 

 

 

 

Type in the code that you have generated when creating and deploying a survey in the usual SMP procedure.  (See deploying your survey), and then press the "ok" button.

 

The survey will be downloaded to your device and will appear in the main list of surveys available to the interviewer.
