Answer order is used in conjunction with the number of columns option. When the number of columns is set to something greater than 1 the answer set can be shown going down the column first then across to the next column, or across the columns first then down. The two examples below demonstrate the difference.
When set to horizontal and using three columns the answer set is presented in the following order:
